A: Well, to be honest, square dancing appeals to many older citizens.  But the reasons it does appeal to them are universally appealing to all.  A typical dance is a social event and a mild form of exercise.  It's even taught in elementary school physical education classes!  It's friendly fun, and something of a hidden, cultural treasure.
